Hub Heating Fund
Bushmead Community Hub is an award winning centre used by many different groups in our local area. We welcome people of all ages and all walks of life on a weekly basis for clubs and groups including our under 5's stay and play, Bush Babies, our adults social group, Hub Club, Bushmead Pre School, Bowls, AC School Of Dance, MSA Luton, Slimming World, Jolly Beans, Bradgers Hill Wilder Futures, Kojo Karate Kai, Zumba, Boxfit, Pilates, Tai Chi, Herts Ability and many more!
Our heating system has needed updating for several years but we have now reached a critical stage where if we do not update the system we will be unable to use The Hub in the colder months of the year. We are kindly asking for any support you can provide to assist us with this to ensure we can continue to provide a space for all your local community endeavours.
The Heating System in the Hub has now failed and is in desperate need of replacing. This comes at a cost of over £120,000. Coupled with spiralling energy bills we urgently need the local community and businesses to help meet these costs. We have launched a ‘Hub Heating Fund’ campaign to try and raise £25,000 towards our new heating system.
We are so grateful for the ongoing engagement and support from our wonderful local community in Bushmead and Luton and hope we can continue to work together for many years to come.
